Gardens and Fields is proud to support Pet Valu’s Walk for Dog Guides this year with a gift certificate donation. Dog Guides are provided at no cost to people with a physical or medical disability. This walk is exceptionally important to these individuals, as 100% of funds raised from the walk go directly to the six Dog Guide training programs. To date, the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides have provided specially trained Dog Guides to over 2,500 eligible Canadians. It costs approximately $25,000 to train and place these dogs, all without government funding!
